Since Pesona games are selling like hot cake, Atlus has decided to use the brand name to other avenues. Now there are Manga, Anime, Toys, and even a planned upcoming Massive Multiplayer Online. This will surely increase thier brand recognition to those non-gamer consumers.

Persona 4: Can it live up to the name??
Hello,
Now I would like to introduce you to the all new Persona 4 for PS2. This game is the true testament that PS2 is like alive even better than PS3. The question now would this game be as good as the pervious game (Persona 3). Lets find out.
First, lets talk about gamplay. The core gameplay is almost the same but now you can control other NPC beside the protagonist but it still game over even tough you’re the only one who dies. The new feature is the allies help. If your relationship with your allies increase, this will unlock thing such a special attack, take a blow for you and even cure status like dizzy. The best part of the game for me is the bosses. They are all very unique and I’m not gonna spoil it for those who still haven’t play the game (Why?? Go buy one NOW!). The Story is about you and your friend trying to solve a murder spree in a small town. Thing like school still retain with some minor enhancement.
Verdict: I can say that Persona 4 is better than Persona 3. why?? First of all the story is not the typical save the world but investigating crimes which for me is quite a new experience. Second of all the story is more emotionally charge compare to the previous one. Over the course of the game you will see your friend’s weakness and problems like teen angst, puppy love, jealousy, even gender identity which rarely discuss in a game. When you get to know all this you feel a certain connection to them and this is where persona 4 shine the most
In conclusion, I cannot stress this than to buy this game immediately for those who have PS2.
Here are example of gameplay, DON.....!!

My Gaming Preferance
Today I just have a thought about games and wonder what makes the games good or bad. Well its mostly boils down to personal preference and surely I categorize it according to priority.
Gameplay
As the saying goes ‘gameplay is king’ is the same as my preference. Solid gameplay mechanics from as simple as Mario, to complex games can make the game enjoyable. When I play, I can to feel the challenge and the achievement mean something.
Storyline
A good storyline and plot can make or break a game especially RPG. A good story can make you feel paying 11 hours like a breeze just like reading a good book or watching a good movie. Some games for me pull me just because the story alone even though the graphics a bad.
Graphics
For me graphics of a game is just eye candy. A up to date graphics doesn’t mean the game is superb.
Music
I’m quite a sentimental guy. Music at time pump me up or move me to tears. That’s why for me a good music is a great companion for a great game. Braid is good example, such wonderful music
Well that my preference. In the end individual taste differs. Some prefer solid gameplay, others prefer good graphics. There no right and wrong answer. Well then, I’m off to class

Pass me the scalpel please: Under the Knife
Ever want to be a doctor but couldn’t because of obstacles like fear of blood or poor grade? Now you can fulfil your dream thanks to technology with under the knife…..
Well is not the same thing but you can cut people up right??? Before you ask what the heck I’m rambling about, I’m talking about Under the Knife: Trauma Centre of the Nintendo DS ‘surgical simulation’. You are Doctor Derek Stiles, surgeon extraordinaire with special heal power (literally) saving lives. The game test your speed and continuous string of procedures without break all while using a stylus. Unfortunately I don’t have a Nintendo DS but I feel I should talk about it as Under The Knife is one of the popular series in the collection of Atlus games. However you can play the game using an emulator. Under the Knife Series is also coming out on the Nintendo Wii, so maybe I’ll opt for Wii version when I acquire the console.

Persona 3: The creme del creme
Greetings,
Today I would like to introduce to you a RPG game, Persona 3 for the PS2. Before I start, let me get this out of my chest. OMG!!!!! Persona 3 is the best gamer EVA!!!. Phew… now we can begin. For those who still not notice, this is one of my favourite RPG games. This game is the combination of RPG and Dating Sim,
You start of as a male high school protagonist living in a co-ed dorm. You’re a part of a special group of high schoolers with special abilities to summon monsters called personas to help them in their quest to get rid of the ‘dark hour’ which is a special time where the world becomes a nightmare. What sold me into this game are two things, how they summon their personas (by shooting themselves ON THE HEAD!) and the dating sim kind of game play
Our protagonist not only have to fight and level up during night time, but also deal with problem like any teenager would (exams, girls, co- curriculum, friends, etc.). Your interaction with friends during daytime will affect the strength of your personas so you have to schedule your time to get the maximum potential. This for me is the shinning point of the game because this enables us to feel connected to the character and the environments in the game….I feel that I want to know all my friends as I progress into the game.
Here are some samples of the gameplay:
